Privacy Policy

When you book online, we collect your full name, email address, mobile number, driver's license number and expiry date, and a photo of your license. If you pay by bank transfer or e-wallet, we also collect a screenshot or photo of your proof of payment and an optional reference number.

To create and confirm your booking, verify your license is valid before handing over a unit, verify your downpayment, and reach you about your reservation (confirmation emails, pick-up/delivery coordination). We never use this information for advertising.

Your license photo and proof of payment are kept in a private storage bucket that is never publicly accessible — there's no URL that shows them, and they're never displayed on the public website. They're only viewable by our staff through a password-protected admin dashboard, and only for as long as needed to process your booking.

Only RIO Motorentals staff can view your booking details, license, and payment proof. We don't sell your information, and we don't share it with advertisers or marketers.

We use Supabase to host our database and files, and Resend to send booking confirmation emails. These providers process data on our behalf under their own security practices — they don't use your information for their own purposes.

We keep booking records, including license and payment details, for as long as needed for our business and accounting records. If you'd like your data reviewed or removed sooner, message us and we'll sort it out.

You can ask us what information we hold about you, request a correction, or ask us to delete it (subject to any records we're required to keep for completed transactions). Just reach out — see below.
